What we collect
- What you tell us: your name, email address, main area of work, skills, years of experience, and where you're based.
- Your matches: the tasks we showed you as your best matches.
- Technical information: the country your visit comes from (derived from your IP address by our hosting provider), your browser type, and the page you used. We don't store your IP address with your profile.
How we use it
- To show you the tasks you're most likely to get (our legitimate interest in providing the service you asked for).
- To email you new opportunities that match your profile, if you agreed when you continued past step 1 (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To understand how humaven is used and improve it, using aggregated information (legitimate interest).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with the platforms we list. When you click “Apply”, you go to the platform's own site, and whatever you give them is covered by their privacy policy.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the website and stores your profile in its database service.
- An email provider will send our emails once we start sending them. We'll name it here when we do.
These providers only process your information on our instructions. Some of them operate outside your country, including in the United States; where required, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it
We keep your profile until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe and it's no longer needed, and we review inactive profiles regularly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California law), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your information, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent to emails at any time. Children
humaven is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
